Our Programmes & Services
Personalised, family-centred support across every stage of life.
Early Intervention Programme
Ages 0–6 · EIPWings Melaka provides a friendly, safe and stimulating educational environment for children aged 0–6 with learning differences, giving them the opportunity to maximise their potential and take their rightful place in society.
Wings recognises the family as the fundamental unit of society and the importance of the family’s role in the upbringing and well-being of every child. In line with research that children under six learn best from their parents or main carers, the programme embraces a Family-Centred Practice Model — parents accompany their child at the Centre, actively participate, and are encouraged to take primary responsibility for their child’s early learning. Our early-childhood teachers work closely with both the children and their parents, guardians and caregivers.
What is involved
- Assessment. Each child is first assessed by our teachers, who work with the parents to understand the child’s basic skills and behaviours. Children may have learning differences such as autism, Down Syndrome, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), slow speech or global developmental delay.
- Individualised Education Plan (IEP). A unique IEP is then drawn up for every child, built from skills across each of the six curriculum domains below — because every child is different.
